He moved to Naples to study painting and from there he obtained a scholarship from the Province of Salerno to settle temporarily in Rome. One of his works obtained a silver medal in a competition of the Academy of San Luca in Rome.
The painting tells of a domestic scene where the psychological investigation and the pictorial investigation proceed hand in hand with a mastery of means that cannot go unnoticed and where the figures live, each one embedded in its own world, forming a scene harmoniously fused on a platform of clear and different moods.
